Kids @ Home Rent Assistance Program: Helping Families Stay in Their Homes The Kids @ Home Rent Assistance Program is a new program that provides financial assistance to families with children who are living in unsubsidized rental housing in Richfield, Minnesota. The program is designed to help families stay in their homes and avoid eviction. To be eligible for the program, families must meet the following criteria: The family must have a child or children who are enrolled in Richfield schools (K-12). One parent or adult in the family must be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week. The family's annual income must fall at or below the income guidelines. The family's rent payments must be current or no more than one month's total rent owed to the landlord.
